Several trees were removed to make way for the addition of the new playground at Canyon Rim Park. Volunteers at Canyon Rim Cares will plant new trees to replace the trees that were removed, beautify the park and to provide shade for the playground.

Canyon Rim is Community is grassroots effort by residents of the Canyon Rim neighborhood of Millcreek City, Utah to produce community events that bring residents together. Events produced by Canyon Rim is Community include the Canyon Rim Symposia series, the Canyon Rim Cares Service Weekend and several more on the way. The Canyon Rim Symposia Series features presentations on various topics of general interest. The Canyon Rim Cares single-day event to provide opportunities for residents to participate in community service.
