2021 Recap

Thanks to the generosity of both sponsors and participants of the 2021 Canyon Rim Cares Day of Service, we were able to donate $17,500 to four local non-profit organizations. We also provided ~30 volunteers to clean Maliheh Clinic, installed seven little libraries, provided 20 pack-n-plays for refugee mothers, Christmas presents for dozens of victims of domestic violence, and wrote over 100 letters for seniors in local care centers.

Update on the Proposed Mine in Parley's Canyon

The Salt Lake County Council recently modified an ordinance that effectually stopped the mine/gravel pit proposed in Parley's Canyon before any development took place. This is a huge victory for the residents of both Canyon Rim and any of the surrounding areas. However, the fight may not be done yet, so keep we'll keep you apprised of any new developments.
