Service Project: Clothing and Funds Drive
Salt Lake’s homeless shelters are in desperate need for clothing to distribute to homeless individuals and families. Bring any clothing donations to Canyon Rim Park (west pavilion) on July 18th between 12:00 and 2:00 p.m. You can also donate funds here at any time.
Clothing and funds will be donated to South Salt Lake Men’s Resource Center located at 3380 W 1000 West and the Midvale Family Resource Center at 529 W. 7300 South.

About the Road Home
The Road Home assists individuals and families experiencing homelessness. It provides emergency shelter, services and case management to help combat homelessness.
Volunteers will donate clothing to be distributed to Utah’s homeless individuals and families. Any type of clothing in good condition is acceptable, including clothing for children, women and men. Items could include backpacks, water bottles, jeans, underwear (new), and other clothing.
Clothing items needed:
- backpacks
- water bottles
- jeans
- underwear
- blankets
- used men’s clothing.
- toothpaste (travel size)
- deodorant (travel size)
- shampoo (travel size)
- conditioner (travel size)
*Free meal valid only at food trucks at Canyon Rim Park on July 18, 2020. Meal vouchers provided at drop off at Canyon Rim Park on July 18. Limit 2 per household. Meal voucher good for meal of $10 or less. Meals pruchased above $10 will receive a $10 credit and purchaser will be responsible for any additional amount due above $10.
