Kindergarten Kits
Granite School District has experienced a large influx of immigrant families with children entering kindergarten without having leared several basics such as numbers, the alphabet and colors. They need help with assembling kits for families of kindergarteners. These kits include games for parents to play with their child to learn the skills required for kindergarten. The Kindergarten Kits include a large ziplock bag that will contain several card stock pages, one page needs to be put into a sheet protector, a bag of beans and dice. Volunteers at Canyon Rim Cares will assembling 4,000 of these kits. The kits will then be boxed and prepared to distribute to the various schools in the district.
