Naturescape Clean Up
Naturescape Clean Up
Goal: 50 volunteers
Naturescape at Canyon Rim Park
The Naturescape at Canyon Rim Park has was created by Canyon Rim residents as a place for refuge and learning. Tucked between the park, the school and the upper soccer field, the Naturescape is a little-known refuge in the middle of the neighborhood . However, after the irrigation system was destroyed by vandalism and weathering, the preserve has fallen into disrepair. Several trees have died, creating a severe fire hazard. There is also garbage and overgrowth that needs to be taken care of.
Volunteers on the day of service will work to clean up the Naturescape, including removing garbage, overgrown vegetation and any vegetation or material that is at risk for creating a fire.
Water bottles will be provided for all volunteers.
