Service Project: Winter Hats & Scarves
Millcreek has a high concentration of refugees, many of whom are ill prepared for the upcoming winter.
Millcreek has a high concentration of refugees, many of whom are ill prepared for the upcoming winter. Crochet or knit winter hats and/or scarves to donate to local refugees. We’ll provide a pattern, materials and instruction to anyone who wants to participate in advance, or come on July 15 to crochet or knit a hat or scar on site.
You may also bring any of your gently used winter items, including coats, gloves, scarves and hats.
All winter items created and/or donated will be provided to local refugees and other individuals experiences homelessness.

The Millcreek Promise Program is a unique collaboration with United Way of Salt Lake, our promise executive team, leadership committee, subcommittee members, residents, volunteers, and many additional partners who mobilize and support the success of Millcreek youth and families through specific promises:
